Township is now accepting employment applications for the position of per-diem Animal
Control Officer. Animal Control Officers
are responsible for enforcing animal cruelty laws, local ordinances, and
must possess the following qualifications:
Be a citizen of the U.S. or a naturalized citizen of the U.S.
Have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
Have a valid NJ driver’s license.
May not have been convicted by any state or by the federal government
of any crime for which punishment in this state would be considered a

employees start at approximately $14.00 per hour. Per-diem employees will be scheduled on an as
needed basis and may be expected to be on-call.
